Support Oblong Pictures

Astonishingly, a handful of people have asked if there's any way they can show their appreciation for these films. You know, like with money and stuff.

While I appreciate the mysterious allure of cold hard cash as much as the next man, and it would certainly help offset the costs of hosting all this stuff, there's a few reasons why accepting money might not be a great idea.

Firstly, I've made a habit of using other people's music in my films. I don't have permission to do that and I have a nagging suspicion that the RIAA and the BPI (the UK equivalent) would probably disagree with my making any sort of profit from that kind of thing.

Secondly, the LEGO company would probably have similar feelings about me making money out of their trademarked properties.

Thirdly, I'm way too lazy to do any kind of administration of PayPal accounts or anything like that. All that verification and stuff.

So anyway, the alternative, for anyone who's still reading, is to take a look at the Oblong Pictures Amazon Wishlist for a selection of gifts that, while they won't pay the bills, will give me something to do when I'm not hunched over a desk full of tiny little men.

Remember, nothing says "nice movies" like a great big package full of books and DVDs.
